I notice not too many put their city/state in their signatures. Where is everybody's home port?
We're in Niles,OH, which is by Youngstown. Anybody else from around this area? Sound off!

Ah well Chrisie, not as far as you think - I'm moored on Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland.

I imagine it's beautiful down where you are, I'd also expect you'd have to be battling some interesting sea conditions from time to time?

Cheers

You are certainly right about the sea conditions at times and if its not the weather its lobster pots got caught by one last year.
However we are all set to get out this year just hope we have a nice summer and catch some big fish.
I'm not to good posting photos so i'll ask my son to do it when he is over.
If anyone knows where we can purchase a cockpit cover to replace our camper type canvas in the winter I would be grateful. Boat is a GS 249 2004

We're in Medina, Ohio - just south of Cleveland.  That's 3 of us from OH-IO so far, that I can see.  acbrian1 - where do you boat?  We went to Berlin Lake yesterday - it was beautiful!  We plan to check out Mosquito Lake and West Branch soon - as well as Salt Fork.  This is our first boat and this is our first season, so it's all new to us.

Just posted a couple of photo's so anyone interested can see Fenit Harbour where we moor our boat and also one of the lighthouse just outside the harbour on a dull day sorry.
The weather is much improved today and we are promised good weather over the weekend so fingers crossed we may even get out to do some fishing, even if we have to stay in the bay.

I am in North Wales, boating off the coast at various places and also the river Conway - generally flat for watersports but only usable about 2hrs either side of high water.
