Ours is in the process of being prepped right now. The dealership is installing the my electronics and windlass and is going to have the we choose painted on. 4/16 we take her out for her demo and then on the 19th it gets delivered.  Im debating wether to have the remote controlled spotlight installed on the bow rail.      ;D ;D

Im very excited also.... been a Rescue Captain at my local firehouse for the last 10 years and finally 2 years ago my wife and purchased a used starter boat.....  long story short "she sunk it"  .. but the bright side was after going to several boat shows and just casually looking at current models.. the very first one that we just was totally weretaken back at what they offered was the Glastron... 2 weeks later we went to the dealearship looked and signed on the line right there.      :D

And thats the way to do it
This is my first boat which I bought three years ago and because of let down by mechanics and me losing three jobs in two years is still sitting pushes the front of my house.  But this is the year to be launched as long as my mechanic arrives to service I am again out of work but mooring fees are paid so no excuse   Make sure you get a few coats of good uv wax on her to keep that new shine.

If your getting the windlass get the spot light. It helps in all sorts of ways at night especialy when weighing anchor.

Hi Merlin, where on Long Island will you be keeping the boat? If you got it on LI I'm assuming you got it in Patchogue, Dave is a great guy and the only Glastron Dealer on LI I know of.

It's cold here in Illinois, we get teased with the high 50s and then back to the 30s. Here is hoping for 60s and 70s sooner rather than later. Our new GS 289 goes in the water on the 13th of next month, a week and a half.
